thread subscription cannot be deleted
 

I several times tried to delete some entries from my subscripted threads list, but it's all in vain. The next time I open the user control panel the deleted ones come up again.
Can sb help please:confused:

Probably a glitch or might be taking time to update

Some things like posts that load but dont show as last post yet



thread tools - top middle of every thread - only way i've ever unsubscribed

The option bottom left - selected threads - delete subscriptions - might work


I'd be letting it settle for a day at least

If you have a large number of subscriptions, they will be spread over several pages when accessing them via your User CP. For example, if you have 100 subs, you will have 5 pages of them in your User CP

The trouble is that if you try to mark subs for deletion on more than one page at a time, it may not work. There is sometimes a similar problem when cleaning PM boxes

My advice is to do your deletions on one page at a time, and you should be ok :thumbsup:

I forgot to mention that it can work well when starting from the last page of subscriptions/PMs instead of from page 1

That way you can do more than one page at a time. It worked for me

Same problem here, almost 2 years..

Try again using the method described, which is:

1. In main menu, click on "User CP"
2. Click on "List subscriptions"
3. Go to last page of subscriptions
4. Click the box of each subscription you want to remove, and move forward page by page
5. When you have selected all you want to remove, go to the bottom of the page and click on "Selected threads: Move to folder"
6. Click on "Delete subscription"

This should clear your unwanted subscriptions. Please report if it doesn't work

Done but when I post in ''deleted'' subscription, that thread automatically
subscribe me again..

Do you mean this thread, meaning the thread subscription cannot be deleted ?

In that case you must go your User CP

1. Click on "Edit options"
2. Find "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
3. Select "Do not subscribe"
4. Go to bottom page and click on "Save changes"

This cancels automatic subscriptions. Please report if it doesn't work

I tried the way palo5 described - hope it works now
