Unlike you affluent VEFfers, I lack the resources to see the world firsthand.:(
I was hoping you'd help me take a virtual tour by posting pics of a place you've visited today, and every day if you like.:)

Just a quick snap of something from where you are, nothing fancy. We have VEFfers from Europe, the Americas, the Antipodes and elsewhere I'm sure. Even if you think your pic is mundane, someone in another region, country or continent might be fascinated by differences in geography, flora & fauna, architecture, fashion or even roadsigns.

Keep me updated regularly and try and convince me that the World isn't one big, homogeneous retail park.:D

I was visiting old friends back in my home town of Brightlingsea this morning.
The small seaside town is on the north east coast of Essex in England. I was born here and spent the first 35 years of my life here.

It's about a 5-10 minute walk from my house. It's actually two pools and some fields; this is the smaller of the two pools. The larger one is used for sailing.
