moderator note: filmundo changed website layout so it no longer works to view covers like this.

There is however still a way to get the covers when they are still "in the system", i looked and it works for most.

Go to filmundo and login, then use this link:

http://www.filmundo.de/_art_0000000.html

Then you get message "Artikel nicht mehr im System!", that will happen when it will not be possible anymore to still get the cover! Keep in mind!.

Then you have a link where you want to recover the cover image from, example:

http://sex-shop.filmundo.de/G_Point_Marlene_Von_Braun_DBM_Downtown__1935899

Copy the number in the link "1935899" and paste it to the base-link:

http://www.filmundo.de/_art_0000000.html

change to

http://www.filmundo.de/_art_1935899.html

Then use that link.

Recover coverscans from f!lmundo.de

How often you've looked for a classic vhs coverscan from labels like r!bu, d!no,
dbm, h€rzog, m@gm@ etc. and found nothing or only the small preview pics on
f!lmundo.de ? Often the auctions already closed some times ago and the big
pics are gone. I've played a little around with the picturelinks and noticed this:

NOTE that the above only works for registered members!

I always "google" f!lmundo for titels and use the "Artikelnummer" AKA "...gebot=2771128..." ID. When you then open on f!lmundo any new auction then you just replace the new "gebot" ID on the link "...gebot=987654321&" with the old one "2771128" to: "...gebot=2771128&", when its still in the system that will work also.

It worked with all old thumnail covers i've found before logging in as a member.

€dit: Dub is right. It really worked only for members ... that's funny because all covers are hosted in austria on f!lmundo.at and not on the main page .de ... how could the austrian page know that i'm a member and logged in?

Its in 18+ section and then you need to be registered and logged in.

For those VEF members who can't read German (or who read only a little), can someone please explain how a person who lives outside Germany can register at f!lmundo?

F!lmundo is a site where you can register (anmelden) as non German, thats possible and allowed. Its also free of charge.

When your interest is however adult material as adult films and videos you will also have to prove you are 18 years of age or above (Freischaltung für die 18er-Bereiche), you will need to do this by sending a scan/photo of your ID/Passport. After that is done you can access and bid on the 18+ content. Note that most transaction will go by banktransfer (IBAN) and that German will stay main language for many.
