Can you recommend a Good Couples Film??

Ok i should qualify this. Make this a hetero couple. I was looking for a good film that my GF and i could watch. It can have hard core sex, but the intent is that it would appeal to both of us. Girl-Girl is ok too.

So this may be overly mainstream for here, but we really liked the variety of Andrew Blake's Hidden Obsessions.

So looking for suggestions here. and if you have a good reason why you really like it that would be good too. Thanks in advance.

I remember the first movie I watched together with my girlfriend at the time was "Star Virgin". After about the second vignette we were humping like rabbits in heat on the lounge room floor. I don't know how it would stand up now but it had some comedic scenes in it that should appeal.
"Eruption" might appeal as well. It is basically a remake of "Double Indemnity" and stars John Holmes and the lovely Leslie Bovee. A very well made movie.

You should choose a film where the males are not too ugly and sex is not mechanical.
Some girls would prefer to watch a Lesbian movie, then I would suggest the Unfaithful series by Viv Thomas.

I would say that "The Opening of Misty Beethoven" is a solid choice, although a little long in the tooth. It's the porn version of "Pygmalion." Warning: Misty does do a guy with a strap-on in the climatic scene.

John Leslie did several adult remakes of mainstream films; in fact, I don't know how he wasn't sued by the owners of Petrified Forest, Strangers on a Train, or Mortal Thoughts. Of these "Anything that Moves" a re-working of "Mortal Thoughts" may actually be better than the source material, IMO. Of Leslie's films, I prefer "Chameleons-Not the Sequel", which as far as I can tell is completely original.

Cecil Howard features tend to be as close as you can get to 'art house' films in porn.

A lot of raincoaters hate his work, but any Paul Thomas video is normally couples safe.

"Amanda by Night" starring Veronica Hart. The Samantha Fox/Lisa DeLeeuw bondage scene may be a little intense if she's not used to that sort of thing. But I think this is the best adult film ever made. The script, acting, etc. are all top-notch.

"The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue" - Fantastic dystopian sci-fi porn. Once again, the acting and story are first rate.

"The Devil in Miss Jones" - the remake w/ Jenna Jameson. I don't care what anyone says she and Savanna Sampson can act! The film itself is a little on the artsy-fartsy side, but it is head and shoulders above the drivel that passes for adult entertainment these days.

Oh, and the sex in these films is hot, too. :-)

I don't know, I think this is a great topic. So far everybody has been referring to adult films, which is fine. But if you have a special woman in mind, and you wanna go more mainstream, consider this: women love love stories. I went to see this film when it was still in the theater, and I was completely blown away. It was the most powerful love story I've ever seen, and I'm not afraid to admit that I was in tears at the end of this thing, and I (like most guys) am not particularly into love stories.
But this is a beautiful beautiful film, both visually and aurally.
For all of you serious music connoisseurs, I'd like to say a few words about that aspect of Geisha. For starters, imagine that this was the only film that the great John Williams ever asked to do the music for! He had enjoyed reading the book immensely, and when he heard that Rob Marshall was gonna be directing the film, he approached him about composing the score. He worked out Sayuri's theme, which is performed on cello by the one and only Yo Yo Ma, and serves as the basis for the entire score. The theme of the chairman is performed on violin by none other than Itzhak Perlman. These two musical titans sat in the sessions for extensive work with Williams and the full orchestra, which also included several native Japanese instruments. Basically, they poured their hearts and souls into the music for this luxurious, ethereal and intoxicating film, and so the entire experience is profoundly moving.
