I know that Fiona Cooper used to have some of her models dress up in them on the videos/dvd's she put out.

But photo shoots of women in tights were few and far between in the mags.

There is such a thread? That's one I am not gonna follow. But you're right, there are threads that I for one find much more unsexy than the image of a woman wearing a pair of tights, preferably with nothing else, except perhaps a pair of heels. I just stay off those threads; no reason to try and stop people from posting. To each his own.

Well a change is as good as a rest. It's always a lovely suprise to find a woman in real life wearing stockings and suspenders, and if a woman really wants to feel sexy and provocative she should definately try it if she hasn't. On the other hand, in porn, stockings are the default. So much so that their presence is almost too predictable and has over the years lost a great deal of impact. But maybe that is just down to the boringly generic way porn is shot these days.

Tights aren't exactly sexy garments in the same way: the bare few inches of thigh that the wearing of stockings emphasize makes them now seem a much more alluring sight that our predeccesors might have taken a little for granted. And women abandoned them in droves at the time of the mini skirt and what was seen as the plain awkward impractability of stockings and suspenders.

Granted, in that early era tights were frumpy and seemed to have overnight killed a lot of the visual fun and accessibilty for men. That is a great shame because no fashion designer should ever invent a peice of intimate apparrel that doesn't take into account the reaction of the oppsite sex.

(For instance, personally I hate the thong, it doesn't make a woman's bottom look more attractive and seems an utterly pointless garment in every respect. Unfortunatly a lot of people disagree with me, but if there's one thing I'd really like to see banished from the drawers of girls rooms it's the thong).

But I digress. Tights have grown to have an appeal. Personally I like the sight of a girls knickers showing through her dark opaque tights. I like the gusset, I like to feel two layers of thin fabric gliding over one another as my hand rubs over a girls crotch. All those thoughts and sensations are brought back by a good picture of a girl in tights.

Variety is the spice of life, (except for the thong - piss on that). :D

I love them both. Stockings for "sophistication" but tights / pantyhose for that everyday housewife, shop assistant, woman in the street etc. The bit that really does it for me with tights is right at the top of the thigh where the nylon is reinforced, you sometimes get a glimpse of this in the street or on a bus and for me it is such a turn on. Same with the reinforced toes. Can't help it, am I strange? ;)
