How to download txt only Rapidshare links:

Copy/paste the (text) Rapidshare link to the adress field of your browser (see image below) and then press enter.

For those who don't know how to copy/paste the link (or text in general) i will explain it briefly because it is a basic skill that is very usefull.

You can copy/paste the link (text) by putting the mouse pointer at the and of the link (text) you want to copy. Press and hold down the left mouse button and go from the end of the link to the beginning with the mouse pointer so that the complete link becomes selected (blue). Let go of the left mouse button and click one time with the right mouse button on the selected link (not next to it otherwise it becomes deselected) and choose the option Copy from the menu.

Open your browser and right click in the adress field (clear all other text from it first) and choose Paste

When the link is pasted like in the first image press 'Enter' to go to the RS download page.

(copy/paste enables to duplicate text (from websites, documents, etc...) to all text editors or text fields without the need of retyping it)

Firefox users can install an add-on called Plain Text To Link (or PTTL)

Once installed, select the link text, right click & select "Open with PTTL to open the link in a new tab.

+1 for Free Download Manager. The import a whole list of URLs from the clipboard function is great, saves much copy & pasting, particularly if the movie or whatever has a lot of links.

An alternative add-on is "Linkification", which automatically converts urls into clickable links.

I'm a bit alarmed that you are using Internet Explorer and visit adult sites. It is very significantly more susceptible to malware attack than other browsers like Firefox and Opera. Not to mention that it's a lot less capable than the two I've mentioned.FF has a host of addons which enable you to do most things!

:) i use Opera to browse but used IE to make the screenshots.

IE is not bad but i indeed would not advice people to use it browsing the adult or some other sections of the internet as it allows to much "interactivity" with its standard settings.

just copy the text of the url and paste it into your browser location or downloader software

if this answer makes no sense, please give me an example of such a post.

There used to be a red icon to click on to get links in AYHJA's posts, but they appear to be dead now.

As you said, in this case only the icon wasn't available anymore and therefore the download link was invisible. I've replaced the icon with the text "download". Please report any further occurrences of this problem, e.g. by posting here ( http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t80194-report-thread-problems-here-dupes-wrong-section-script-error-triplicate-replies-etc.html)
