Recently I've decided to not recode anymore porn dvd cause most of the time they're very bad authored and low bitrate, so any recode would make further quality loss.
Xvid and even x264 can't do a good job with such sources.
Rarely I'm interested about the whole movie but only on my favorite fornstar part.
So i've made this guide to shrink a chapter and remux it without re-encoding at all.

Needed software.
DVD-Shrink (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVD-Shrink)

Open DVD-Shrink and uncheck split vob into 1gb files, useful for chapter larger than 1gb.

Open folder Video_ts and wait dvd scanning.

Press re-author button

Right select Main movie and click add (or drag on the compilation window).

Open chapter selection window.

Select proper chapter start/end and trim with right/left arrow key if is not at the beginning of the wanted point or is not ending at the wanted point.
Select a key frame before the begging of wanted scene to be sure of not loosing anything.
Sometimes a scene would be across 2 chapters so check with the preview window.

Make sure to select no-compression.

Select proper audio track if there's more than one and remove subpicture.
Preferibily if there's a track with direct audio keep that (I dont like dubbed orgasms).

press backup button and select a new folder to save it.

Finally open the folder with the shrinked scene and rename the larger file called VTS_1_1.VOB to the new file name with the extension mpg.

Keep only the new mpg and trash all the rest...Done!

To rename file extension on windows Xp follow this:

Note:
VOB and MPEG are the same mutiplexing format but used differently to handle menus, subtitles, chapters and more but essentially they're the same thing.
