I am pretty sure if I go through my list of girls I can definitely add to that list of girls that didn't bare all and for good reason. Remember a lot of the models we knew signed a contract to make sure none of their full nude stuff was ever shown here, unless they deigned to take all off for P*Boy and P*House, M*yf*ir etc. I have more amazed to find out the girls I never thought would do full frontal actually did and that made it worth my while collecting pics of those girls-one obvious one we were all deprived of was Samantha Fox, but since I found ONE on an old CD-ROM I bought in the late 90's I was convinced that she and others had done more. I documented this before but I remember on chat show WOGAN Samantha categorically saying she would never do pictures with "one leg here and one leg over there," so the idea of finding a more explicit shot of Samantha was not feasible. People mentioned the girls of today like Nikkala Stott & Ruth Reynolds-to be honest with the way that all models now shave their below-stairs areas now and god help us tattoos-and to be honest the 80's were simply the best time for the glamour, the looks & silly props.

In the same spirit, I recall that several years back, someone on britbabes (I think) posted that in his day job, he'd seen full nudes of Ruth Gordon and Suzanne Mizzi at a photo library, but hadn't been able to get copies (he couldn't have justified it on the work account, but they wouldn't do private sales).

It might take you some time but if you use search and type in the name of the girl you want you will find her thread especially the popular ones and some you might remember making short appearances but not all have bared all- alot of the main ones you would remember have however and there are tons of scans and pics posted-a good way to while away an hour or two :)

I bought a German mag at Munich Airport in the early 90s where Gail McKenna was on the cover and the centrefold with no underwear and no coy angles. Kirsten Imrie's career on the Page [before the tale of drink, drugs, lesbianism and sleeping on park benches] was trashed after PH bought in a set for a Christmas issue where she dressed (well.. mostly) as Santa and put her on the cover. Game over . I recall an article a couple of months later where it was 'I was tricked by the photographer.. family newspaper... etc. etc.' Time and modern technology lay the lie to that! I am sure I mentioned this before but as I understood it especially with girls like Samantha Fox they would sign a deal that meant no nude stuff would be published in this country and only abroad would see them au naturel. The only way we saw girls fully naked and showing all was if they appeared in M*yf*ir or P*nth*use etc. On the odd occasion this rule was flouted like Lisa Bangert-a set of her appeared in M*yf*ir and she hadn't given permission for them to print it-mind you it was a bloody nice set and showed Lisa at her hottest. I suppose it depended on the page 3 girl at the time - either they were the type of go-getter that wanted the maximum amount of ahem, exposure OR too coy to show all, usually not to embarrass family members.

The other problem was signing syndicate deals. This meant that all or some of the pictures could be passed on to many magazines and they could publish it wherever they wanted - you only now see how much of the set of a page 3 girl was either kept back or not published in a magazine at all. The annoying thing is that sometimes one set of pics would appear in a magazine and the rest or more of them would appear elsewhere in another country - if published here we got a raw deal because the whole set would not appear for some reason-maybe considered too raunchy!

Well look what I've found in the pages of an old photography magazine - an article about a 1986 calendar shoot containing the following photo of a young (pre-Page 3) and very naked Gaynor Goodman floating face-up in the clear waters of the Seychelles. Don't get too carried away though. Gaynor is just a small element of the overall shot, most of which is location scenery, and she's only shown the same size as in the thumbnail above.
