Extracting many images from a video at once

I used to have a freeware program that would allow you to extract many images from a video - an additional image every half second or what ever interval you set. Note I am not talking about making a composite preview with Image Grabber or the like. Would like to get such a program again (one that works on Windows 7) Thanks!

I use this quite a bit. It has what the author calls an "intervalometer".
