No problem posting your question here. Some mostly older threads, specialy the beginning of them, lost a lot of the content that was posted there simple due to age, same story on the links to pages outside of the thread.

When you follow a link to a other page also on the VEF here and bump in to this screen:

it means the thread no longer excists, NO need to contact the admin.

On the other hand when you follow a link to a other page also on the VEF and bump into this screen:

then you will need to login again using that screen to solve the problem. This is because some people login on www.vintage-erotica-forum.com and some others on vintage-erotica-forum.com the people logging in on the www version post www links and others logging in on the non www version post links without the www part.

Hope it clears things up a bit for you, luckely there is still a lot to find here.

Hi Dem, sorry for the confusion i wanted to highlight certain parts of the text and did this by underlining it so they are no links just plain text, updated the previous post above to make it more clear.

The filehost probably was GigaSize.com, filehosts have a policy that when a file is not downloaded for a longer period of time it gets deleted for Rapidshare this is 90 days so older posts have links to files that are no longer there. Same with the reply's some posts get removed when the links don't work anymore then also the posts responding to these removed posts are also no longer relavent and should have been removed but thats not always the case as you noticed.

All comes down to age, uploads and posts are here when they are still here best to aknowledge that fact and look what is still up at the moment. When you find something that you have been looking a long time for and it is now gone you can ask in that thread if somebody is willing to post it again but you shouldn't do that oft, thats mostly not appriciated to much. There are appointed places where you can posts requests more freely. You will find that out.

BTW nice to meet a other Avast user, best AV program there is IMO and free :).

Found the site by pure fluke and could not believe my luck or the awesome content. It's fantastic as I had to er, let so many magazines go at one point and this is an amazing resource to collect a little bit back in some way and see some other sets and things I never saw before :).

Huge fan of late 80s, early to mid 90s Joanie Allum work and the girls she used to photo. I guess it's no huge suprise my top favourites would be Claire Green, Gaynor Bell, Julia Gilda, Charlotte Langley etc from that era. Amazing women. Tons more of course I could list given half the chance!

When you have issues or questions conserning Mac you can always post in the "Help and Guides Section" there will probably be someone that can help you out or point in the right direction. Perhaps its a good idea to start a thread for essential Mac tools.

2) Please make sure before you post ANYTHING that you read the rules-they are there to help you-if you need further help send a private message to one of the Moderators-we will do our best to help you further. Also don't be afraid to ask one of the senior members too, they have been here long enough and know the ropes.

3) If you are in any doubt as to where to post again ask someone-anything posted that is in the wrong place will be moved anyway.

4)Always use smilies with your comments otherwise it might be taken the wrong way.

5) It is generally accepted as courtesy NOT to ask for anything on your first post-it is always better to show you want to be part of this forum by contributing a picture or scan or something interesting about a model-that will get you at least one thank you rather than just asking for something the moment you join. Some members don't take kindly to this.

6) Above all else have fun and enjoy the forum.

I cannot emphasise enough that if you are a newbie you MUST read the rules thread BEFORE you post anything and remember some members don't like newbies making requests straightaway-not only is it wasteful but it might seem like all you are doing is taking and not giving first. If you want to really become a member of this forum it is better to watch how the threads work, the way people 'talk' on them then jump in and type something useful NOT just "hi there" or "nice arse," "big tits" etc etc; its is a waste of your post and will be deleted.
